what a difference

i woke up this morning to a different surrounding, different smell, different sound, and to a different feeling. i woke up this morning having a different mind-set, a different schedule and a different breakfast. i woke up this morning in a different city and a different country, because this morning i woke up once again in Bangkok, where everything is different from where i come from.

for the next ten days, i'll be waking up with different situations, because i will be waking up in three different countries, where there'll be more differences than what were different in the two previous different countries.

what will not make a difference though, is that I will have the same God in all these different waking days i will be in these different encounters i will have with different people in these different couuntries.

my God is the same..and what difference it does make.

if only i could

if i could do anything, anything at all with my life (time and resources permitting), i would go back to school.

what would i study? um, languages. french, italian, german, romanian (it's actually a rather pretty language. seriously!)... and i'm not talking about one of those crash-course, either. i mean the hard-core university bachelor's degree programs, where i'm thrust into understanding the language because my prof speaks nothing but said language, my books are all in said language, and my fellow classmates and i are not allowed to speak a word of english during a three-hour lecture. that kind of learn-a-language thing. and then, in the summers, i would go to the countries where my language(s) are mother tongues and embarrass myself trying to chat with locals.

wouldn't that be exciting?

4. What happened to you in 2006? Hmmm..tagal na yun. Turned one year older, got sick, read more books, started my blogspot account, travelled, met new friends...dami eh.

6. How many beverages did you have today? 1 mug of coffee, 1 glass of water and half-glass of orange-pineapple juice

7. What color is your hairbrush? blue, pero hindi sakin yun e

9. Where were you last night? depende what time, but the last place i was, sa bahay of course

10. What color is your front door? brown if you're talking about the wooden door, but then we have a screen door which is silver in color.
